Its low thermal conductivity provides exceptional insulation against heat, while advanced gravure (dot) lamination permanently bonds the Carbon Shield™ knit fabric to DuPont™ Nomex® Nano Flex for enhanced flexibility, comfort, and durability.

The BarriAire Carbon Shield™ Elite Pro achieves an outstanding Particulate Filtration Efficiency (PFE) of 99.92% before laundering and conditioning and 99.98% after laundering and conditioning, providing exceptional protection against dangerous airborne particulates commonly encountered during firefighting operations.
