The Fire-Dex Fireline Ground Pounder (Classic) Coat – 6 oz Nomex® IIIA – Yellow is designed to provide wildland firefighters with lightweight flame-resistant protection, dependable durability, and exceptional comfort during extended fire suppression operations. Constructed from inherently flame-resistant 6 oz Nomex® IIIA plain weave fabric, this classic wildland coat delivers proven performance while meeting the demanding requirements of today's fire service professionals.

Made from a blend of 93% Nomex®, 5% Kevlar®, and 2% Anti-Stat fibers, the lightweight fabric provides permanent flame resistance that will not wash out or diminish over time. The raglan sleeve design enhances mobility, while the Alpine-style collar and extended front closure provide additional protection from heat, flame, and environmental conditions encountered on the fireline.

Designed for everyday functionality, the Ground Pounder Classic Coat features a double-pull Zytel® FR50 Delrin® zipper with Nomex® tape, an internal and external storm flap, an integrated radio pocket with microphone loop, and two large expandable cargo pockets for carrying essential equipment. Adjustable gusseted cuffs allow firefighters to customize the fit over gloves while maintaining comfort and protection throughout the workday.

High-visibility 3M™ Scotchlite™ Flame Resistant Lime/Yellow Triple Trim enhances visibility during low-light operations. The coat is UL Classified to meet or exceed the current NFPA 1977 Standard for Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting and complies with applicable Cal-OSHA Title 8 GISO requirements.
