Paratech Biel Tool
The Paratech Biel Tool is a compact, personal-size forcible entry and rescue tool designed for firefighters, rescue professionals, and emergency personnel. Incorporating many of the proven features found in the Paratech Pry-Axe, the Biel Tool delivers dependable cutting, prying, chopping, and striking capabilities in a lightweight design that can be carried on a belt or inside a bunker coat pocket.
Manufactured as a one-piece tool from heat-treated, electro-polished stainless steel, the Biel Tool provides exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting durability. Its ergonomically molded rubber handle offers a secure and comfortable grip during demanding rescue and forcible-entry operations.
The integrated axe blade is ideal for light chopping, metal cutting, and overhaul work, while the chisel and pry wedge on the opposite side can be used for forcing doors and windows, twisting hasps and locks, and other prying applications. A curved nail-pulling claw creates maximum pulling force at the beginning of extraction and gradually reduces resistance as the nail is removed.
A rectangular slot located in the axe head is designed primarily for operating gas shutoff valves. The slot may also be used to attach a rope for use as a grapnel hook or as a convenient storage notch.
